We had a great night on Friday at a Paul Phillips Benefit evening, the place was packed and the craic was ninety. Big thank you to Daithi Cliontun for organising the whole event and getting such a great turnout on the coldest night of the winter so far
Once we got all the musicians away from the bar we had a great session, it kept getting bigger and bigger, maybe 15 musicians at one stage.
I remember jumping - where did those pipes behind me appear from :)
It was also the first time that I had seen Young Eamon Rooney play (13)
and he's very impressive and a nice young lad, we exchanged drums for a
set and he liked the egg very much.

We Rocked!
On 2nd & 3rd January 2008 a small group of Paul Phillip's friends gathered in a house in Portstewart to hold a recording session to produce tracks for download to benefit the Paul Phillips Scholarship.
We didn't know that we would have such an incredible time and come up with such fantastic energy and recordings
I have made early mixes and they sound incredible. Tom is generously working on some of the proper ones now and we should have finished tracks starting to become available in a couple of weeks.
Click the Audio Samples button in the menu for audio examples.
NEW 18 Jan - 2 Full Audio tracks available to bodojo Members.
Registration is free and there are lots of bodhran goodies.
